KAISHA-Tec for the second year running win a Global Excellence in Workflow award from the Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC), Giga Information Group and the Workflow And Reengineering International Association (WARIA). These prestigious awards are used to recognize organizations that have demonstrably excelled in implementing innovative solutions to meet strategic business objectives. Following on from the Gold award in the 2000 awards we win a silver award here for the 2001 awards. In selecting the awards particular attention was paid to workflow implementations that show workflow extending beyond the corporate boundaries to support customers, suppliers, trading partners etc.

The Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC), Giga Information Group and the Workflow And Reengineering International Association (WARIA) are pleased to announce the winners of the 2000 Global Excellence Awards for innovation and excellence in workflow implementations. These prestigious awards are used to recognize organizations that have demonstrably excelled in implementing innovative solutions to meet strategic business objectives.
These winning case studies demonstrate how organizations are using workflow implementations to not only improve internal processes, but also support their business goals, said Connie Moore, VP Giga Information Group and awards judge. These companies and government agencies have presented innovative solutions that truly make a difference. Selecting the ultimate winners was a challenging task.
Particular attention was paid to workflow implementations that show workflow extending beyond the corporate boundaries to support customers, suppliers, trading partners etc.
ActiveModeler/ActiveFlow from KAISHA-Tec and supported by NEC Corporation won the Gold Award. The innovations presented were considered to be at the forefront of Workflow technology, and fully catered to the demanding requirements of Japanese work practices.
