Rather than developing our own repository we felt it best to use this Open Source product which is the most widely supported, feature rich and secure CVS Server available today. The CVSNT server software is also free and available for both Windows and Linux. The Avantage CVS (Concurrent Versioning System) plugin simplifies the interface to the repository - you don't even have to leave the Avantage platform.
